A bit about us here at

Harmony Hills Schnauzers

Our miniature schnauzers are carefully chosen and bred with a focus on health, longevity, temperament, trainability, physical quality, and conformation. Our aim is to deliver top-quality pedigreed miniature schnauzer puppies through selective breeding and meticulous selection from our genetic lines and a network of esteemed licensed breeders.

We are members of several national registries.  We have dogs that are dual/triple registered with AKC, CKC, and APRI.

Our promise to our Harmony Hills Schnauzer families

We take great pride in our dedication to offering the finest quality miniature schnauzers. Our commitment is backed by our health guarantee and a signed contract for all Harmony Hills families.

Health and Longevity

We emphasize health by conducting Embark genetic testing for over 260 conditions on all breeding dams and sires prior to breeding to ensure that all puppies are free of genetic conditions.

Our dogs and puppies regularly see our licensed veterinarian for general health care and vaccinations.

Nutrition, vitamins, and prebiotics are essential. Our dogs and puppies enjoy fresh food snacks and treats, along with Purina Pro Plan. They also receive NuVet supplements (vitamins and probiotics) and Benebac (prebiotic).

Temperament and Trainability

Our dogs and puppies are nurtured in our home, receiving careful handling by both adults and children when age-appropriate. We focus on socialization and gradual introduction to various environments to foster their personalities, ensuring they grow up confident and happy.

During their stay with us, all puppies start their training, which includes familiarization with an open-door crate and the beginnings of grass pad or litter box training.

Physical Quality and Form

At Harmony Hills, we select our miniature schnauzers for their quality. We are fortunate to provide a diverse selection of these dogs, each boasting the finest traits, including a variety of stunning coat and eye colors. Our breeding pairs, consisting of sires and dams, are carefully matched based on certain physical traits or when we aim for a particular result from their union.

Let's Talk Mini Schnauzers

If you have not had the pleasure of having a miniature schnauzer as part of your family, or it has been some time I highly recommend doing some research about the breed.  Below provides an overview of the breed and some information about our mini schnauzers here at HHS.

About Mini Schnauzers

The Miniature Schnauzer, the smallest of the three Schnauzer breeds, is a generally healthy, long-lived, and low-shedding companion. Add an outgoing personality, a portable size, and sporty good looks, and you've got an ideal family dog. Stocky, robust little dogs, Miniature Schnauzers were bred down from their larger cousins, Standard Schnauzers. The bushy beard and eyebrows give Minis a charming, human-like expression. They have double coats and minimal shedding.  They do require frequent grooming (daily brushing, monthly bathing, and trimming) due to their double minimally shedding coats.  Created to be all-around farm dogs and ratters, they are tough, muscular, and fearless without being aggressive. They are alert and react to any potential threat, may it be a person outside or a squirrel, but should warm to strangers welcomed into the home by owners.  They are known to be affectionate with family, good with children, and generally friendly with other dogs. The Miniature Schnauzer is an intelligent, friendly, enthusiastic, trainable companion who loves to please, but known to have a stubborn streak. Minis are small enough to adapt to apartment life but tireless enough to patrol acres of farmland. They get along well with other animals and kids. Minis are sturdy little guys and enjoy vigorous play. Home and family oriented, they make great watchdogs. These are generalizations of the breed and each Mini has a different personality dependent upon multiple things (a few of these are training, environment, and socialization).
